    Mortgage Companies differ greatly in the types of services they give and the rates they charge. You may already have a good loan officer. However, if you do not, you may get contact information of one by clicking you mouse on one of the names to the right. A bad lending experience can delay closing on your home which can have major repercussions with the rest of your moving plans. It is very important that your loan officer be knowledgeable and is able to handle problems, if they happen.

At this point you should also be able to get your loan officer to send you a simple one page document called a pre-qualification letter. This document will be required by most sellers when you make an offer on their home.
